In the Q'ero tradition, from which I do my healing work, there is no such thing as negative energy. The Q'ero do not impose a moral judgement on energy. Energy is energy. However, they teach that not all energy is compatible with your energy.
According to the Q'ero there are two types of energy, the first they call Sami which is light, pure, almost effervescent and compatible. Sami is also described as “Closer to Source" or "God's energy." The second form of energy they call Hucha. Hucha is dense, heavy and very incompatible with our energy body. When we acquire too much hucha we really feel it. We become bogged down and life becomes difficult. I usually describe the feeling of having too much hucha as: "Feeling like you have 10 wet wool blankets on your back when you get up in the morning or by the end of the day." We acquire hucha by many means. Unkind self-talk, gossiping, stress, arguments and quarrels, a misuse of alcohol and drugs, etc. But also, we can acquire it from other people. Yup! People love to share their hucha. Having too much hucha unfortunately can create more hucha. Your house or apartment can be filled with hucha, your car, your office or work-space can feel dense and uninviting. Most of us, who are sensitive, have walked into a space and felt it and then after leaving that space we sometimes carry it with us. Hucha can also make us feel sick, tired or even exhausted. Using the mystical techniques of the Q'ero people, which I have been trained in, I am able to remove the hucha that isn't yours, clean the hucha that is yours and return it to you as sami. You will feel like yourself again, lighter, emotionally and mentally clearer. Just as we are supposed to be. Now that Spring is just about upon us, it may be a good time to clear your energy so you can enjoy this vibrant and beautiful time of year!
